In Phoenix: Burn Rise Heal, artists Kristy Osseweyer and Jen Browne explore the cycles of destruction and regenerationboth internal and environmentalthrough deeply personal and evocative works.
Jen Brownes art gives form to her mental health journey, tracing her path from emotional devastation to healing. Her bird imagery becomes a powerful metaphor for vulnerability, flight, and emergence, capturing each stage of her transformation.
Kristy Osseweyer draws inspiration from the Australian bush, using the motif of fire as both an agent of loss and a force of renewal. Her works reflect the resilience of scorched landscapes and the quiet power of regrowth, echoing the rhythms of nature's recovery.
Together, their work invites reflection on the universal themes of pain, survival, and rebirthreminding us that from ashes, something fierce and beautiful can rise.
