Opening Night of our Annual Halloween Festival
Join us for an unforgettable evening as the enigmatic C.W. Stoneking graces the stage at Lithgows historic Union Theatre, launching this years Annual Halloween Festival in evocative style.
Supported by local band, Narrownecks, and set against the atmospheric charm of the Union Theatre, this intimate concert is the perfect way to open a unique festival that celebrates the strange, the beautiful, and the haunting.
Local boutique brewery - Zig Zag Brewery - will be pouring drinks in the Union from 6:30pm and the Lithgow Tin Shed will be hosting a Cajun style dinner next door from 5:30pm.

C.W. Stoneking is an Australian/American singer, musician, recording artist. Born in Katherine in the Northern Territory of Australia in the mid 1970s. He has lived and toured across Australia, the UK, Europe, and the U.S.A. He has independently released 3 critically acclaimed original full length albums, King Hokum, Jungle Blues, and Gon Boogaloo. Hes performed extensively internationally with various backing band lineups and as a solo performer, the instrumentation of his musical groups and recordings mirror the stylistic inspirations of his songwriting, New Orleans style brass and drums, Traditional African, Caribbean style percussion, early 20th century blues, jazz, and American folk styled guitar and banjo, gospel inspired electric guitar and background singing. C.W. Stonekings music and lyrics draw inspiration from a wide spectrum of musical styles and traditions which he combines to create his own unique sound.
Local support Narrownecks are an old-time string band, with fast driving fiddle and banjo melodies, and intricate, delicate finger-style guitar and vocal harmonies. David Hoffmann is a second-generation old time fiddler, singer and guitarist from the USA. He grew up surrounded by traditional Appalachian music, attending square dances, and playing in family jam sessions. Harry O'Donovan has studied clawhammer, two and three-finger banjo, fiddle and finger-style guitar with some of the best folk musicians in the USA and Australia. He brings an old-world sensibility and a knowledge of eastern and western folk traditions from the past two centuries.
