Grab a blanket, pack a picnic and enjoy FREE games and activities on the grassy Hub forecourt
Picnic Days are a new initiative from the Springwood Library, The Hub and Springwood Neighbourhood Centre.
Responding to the needs of our community, each school holidays a day will be selected for free family fun for the younger people in our lives.
Every picnic day is a little bit different, but you can count on the following:
Low stress, welcoming environment for families
Free activities these might be craft and/or games based
Council staff to help guide play and share resources
Tea and coffee station for the grown-ups
This is also a fantastic time to pick up new loans from the library.
Reading under the trees? Wonderful!
So bring along a picnic rug and lunch, setup outside on the grass (or inside The Hub if the weather isn't great) and we'll see you soon!
