Sport for Jove kick off their biggest year ever in 2025 with Much Ado About Nothing! A much loved Shakespearean classic that is full of wit, love and romance; enjoy watching a hilarious, intimate cast of 7 actors play an array of characters and let them dazzle you under the stars for some Christmas and New year cheer.
Dazzling wit, perfect comedy, dangerous possibilities and cruel deceits, Much Ado is deservedly beloved of audiences worldwide. Sport for Jove’s new production, directed by the wonderful Samantha Young (Away, 2016), challenges the play's darkest edges, while celebrating its extraordinary liveliness and tumultuous couplings – Benedick and Beatrice, Hero and Claudio – along with the eccentric community that orbits them.
Don Pedro’s army is home, and so the war begins – can women trust men, can men recognise women, can love be defined by something more than words?
