Norman Lindsay Gallery comes alive with a special day of family-friendly experiences celebrating the beloved children's book, The Magic Pudding.
Join us for special day of celebration at Springwood’s Norman Lindsay Gallery, home of The Magic Pudding, a whimsical children’s book written by Norman Lindsay in 1917.
A charming day out for children and adults alike, Magic Pudding Day offers an array of activities including crafts, a pudding trail, face painting and a scrumptious ‘The Great Norman Lindsay Bake Off’ pudding competition to be judged by Jodie Van der Velden from Josophans Chocolates.
To enter the competition, please pre-register via Eventbrite and bring your creation to Norman Lindsay Gallery at 11am, ensuring it meets the theme of The Magic Pudding. Winners will be announced at 12:30pm.
Tickets include entry to the gallery and grounds. Head inside to view the new exhibition and step into the original painting studio where Norman created his famous art and The Magic Pudding. Pack a picnic to enjoy in the lovely heritage gardens, snap a family shot with our own Magic Pudding or under the show-stopping spring wisteria arbour, and take a short scenic bushwalk to make the most of the stunning views across the Grose Valley.
Free Guided Tours of the property will run at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm and 2.30pm.
Ticket add-ons include:
Pudding competition entry: $10.00
Children’s craft, games, facepainting: $10.00
Morning tea: $15.00
Cheese platters for two: $25.00
