On Sunday 11 August, a heritage listed Sydney Steam Tram returns to duty at Valley Heights Rail Museum: Number 103A, the world’s only regularly working example, will delight passengers with a 20 minute ride* in a restored tramcar (for many years part of a house!). Admire all the exhibits, large and small, that tell the story of 150 years of railways across the Mountains. Explore the 1914 Roundhouse where many locomotives, wagons and carriages are open for inspection. Later, enjoy a pie, ice cream, barista coffee or gourmet sandwich in the café, then check out the shop for an unusual gift or souvenir.
