Springwood Acoustic Club presents its last featured guest for the year on Thursday 23rd November. Ian Tanner hosted and performed at the legendary Blue Mountains Folk events in Lawson between 2013-2019, and has been a band member of both Papa Grooves and the Wicked Elvis's, both bands local to the mountains. With an acoustic guitar, dusky vocals, and accomplished player John Lee on fiddle, Ian will present originals and covers that evoke traditional Irish and American influences. Should be grand!
The night will also feature the regular round-robin, where anyone that wants to has a chance to perform. Sing a song, sing along, bring a poem or story, or just listen in. From 730pm in the Springwood Presbyterian Church Hall. $7/$5 includes refreshments. You can also prebook tickets through the Springwood Neighbourhood Centre, or at the door on the night.
