For one night only! Enjoy a reprise of the hugely successful Blue Mountains production, Eating Pomegranates, as part of From the Brink. The evening features excerpts from the original production in which Blue Mountains writers and actors bring you their take on our journey through life, death and beyond!
We will also feature new material specially created for From the Brink, and we will conclude the performance with a discussion with the director and performers about the issues raised by the work.

Expect everything from outrageous humour to deathbed departures, vaudeville and Frida Kahlo, a journey through the culinary delights of the Underworld, a passionate debate on the price of immortality…and of course, pomegranates! Soup, coffee, tea and cakes on sale before the performance!

Note: The production celebrates all aspects of life: including death and dying. It is not suitable for children under 12 years.

Writers: Margaret Davis, Amanda Kaye and Aeva O’Dea.

Performers: Janine Penfold, Alexandra Smith and Rebecca Waters.

Composer: Me-Lee Hay. Director: Margaret Davis.
