The Cuisine
Spice It Up! A Spanish Fiesta
For the Art of Lunch event on Sunday 25 August, indulge in a tasting palette of rich and spicy treats from Spanish Tapas on arrival including: tostadas with tomato, olive and chilly tapenade; spicy potatoes with saffron and octopus; and then a classic paella – a complex, flavourful dish that is theatrical and delectable with its abundance of chorizo, seafood and rice. Keep some room for divine desserts.

The Artist
Spice It Up | Group Exhibition
In harmony with the Spanish Fiesta theme, Wild Valley Art Park presents an exciting exhibition using vibrant and warm palettes of red, ochre and spice! The exhibition is set to warm the soul against the winter blues. It features inspired works – paintings, sculptures and off-the-wall pieces – by artists who are well-known and appreciated locally and far beyond: Fiona Watson, Marian Schapiro, Mark Davis, Saskia Kremmer, Adam Rish and Selena Seifert.

The Musician
Flamenco Vero
Then there’s the sound burst of Flamenco guitar to get your toes tapping. As Bernie White thrums the passionate tunes, Veronica performs her breath-taking skirt-swirling sequences. She was a professional Flamenco dancer in Spain, performing and touring with leading companies.

Adventure down a short bush track off Blaxland Road, Wentworth Falls, to find Wild Valley Art Park, an eco-sensitive cluster of exhibition galleries, artist’s studios, creative spaces and eco-cottages nestled in tranquil Blue Mountains bush. It’s an ideal setting to feel and explore your own connections with nature and share the ethos of sustainability. As part of nurturing environmentally sensitive arts practice, Wild Valley Art Park features a growing collection of sculptures throughout its 17-acres of natural environment with works by Mike Macgregor, Mark Davis, Kurt Muller, Selena Seifert and Peter Shoemark. The outdoor spaces and exhibition rooms feature changing displays of art in many forms, reflections and connections with the world around us.
