Details:
You can expect a fun and interactive, hands-on learning environment. We will be rediscovering the lost skill of creating our own oil paints from scratch.

Participants will be guided through the process of making oil paints by hand. Your teacher is Sophie Haythornthwaite, who has spent four years in Florence studying traditional oil painting techniques of the Renaissance and Baroque.

Cost: $130.00 including - 6 empty titanium paint tubes with labels, 6 sachets of non-toxic powdered pigment in the three primary colours, plus black and white, as well as additional colours and Linseed Oil.

Refreshments and snacks are provided.

Bring your own apron or old clothes, cotton gloves and lunch.
