A great day is planned for this year's Australia Day Festival in Springwood.

Joining the event for the first time with fresh produce, market and food stalls is the Springwood Growers Market. In the food court we'll have sausage sizzle from RFS, a great variety of international food stalls and a licenced bar area.

The dedicated 'chill-out' kids' corner will have face painting, slime making, circus performers, cookie decorating activities and much more.

There will be rides and ponies and for the little Formula 1 drivers, Kids Cub Karts will be there with their fun kids go-kart circuit.

The stage program will once again feature an interactive children's program in the morning followed by performances from local musicians.

During the day we'll be raising funds for our local volunteer fire and emergency services brigades.
