Horizons: Three Blue Mountains artists explore landscapes

Thu 13 Sep
Every  Week on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday until Sun 07 Oct 2018
10:00am - 4pm, Thurs - Sun
Horizons celebrates the rich Australian tradition of landscape painting and draws together three very different outlooks, perspectives and perceptions from three Blue Mountains artists. The exhibition features new work from Ruth le Cheminant, Ingrid Russell and Vicki Hersey, all of whom live in the Blue Mountains and who are primarily landscape painters. The motifs within the genre of landscape painting are as varied as the individual artist’s response. Some works have been made en plein air, others have developed in the studio, all have been made with a sense of purpose and enthusiasm.
