Every  Week on Wednesday until Wed 18 Jul 2018
1:00 - 3:00 pm
$20 per child. Accompanying adults are free.
We are running two science sessions which explore the wonders of nature. On Wednesday 11 July we will be discovering plants older than the dinosaurs in Mossy Monsters, before exploring the jungle to hunt for these primitive plants. Or try our Colour and Light event on Wednesday 18 July, where we will discover the wonders of light and explore all the colours of the rainbow.

Hands-on science for curious kids who like to make things, experiment, use gadgets and find out cool stuff. We'll discover WHY stuff happens, WHAT makes things the way they are and HOW things work!

We'll make fun gadgets, we'll mix up chemical compounds, build and test models, investigate with scientific equipment and experiment with super-cool science! There'll be lots of making and experimenting for everyone to get involved, with all the tools, equipment and ingredients provided.

Mossy Monsters: Wednesday 11 July

Discover the oldest, tiniest survivers on the planet they've been around since long before the dinosaurs. They're Mosses, the Earth's most primitive plants! We'll visit the Jungle to hunt for these amazing plants, and create our own mossy monster to take home.

Colour and Light: Wednesday 18 July

See like a bee, find out why plants are green, make a rainbow and more! The Garden is full of colour - we'll discover why plants have different coloured flowers, how to split light and more!

$20 per child and includes all activity materials.

Recommended for children 8 years and over and their parents or carers.
