Author Talk – Julie Ankers – Call Me Frank

Fri 18 May 2018
Lithgow Library invites you along to a dynamic presentation by Blue Mountains author Julie Ankers on her new book Call Me Frank, a collection of 20 autobiographical stories of men over 50 telling it like it is at this stage of their lives.

The book covers every subject imaginable, depression, bullying, alcoholism, loss, pedophilia, bankruptcy, and yet most of the men experiencing these emerge not unscathed but victorious. It is gripping reading.

“It is refreshing to see a book where men reveal their feelings in an honest, open and confronting way that inspires men and women alike,” said Lithgow City Council Mayor Stephen Lesslie.

Call me Frank is a companion book to Feisty, Fabulous & 50+ which Julie launched successfully at Lithgow Library last year. Julie is an entrepreneur with a passion for promoting and developing people and an enthusiastic speaker who will delight the audience.

The free talk will take place at Lithgow Library on Friday 18 May at 10.30am and will be followed by questions and light refreshments. Copies of the book will be available to purchase on the day for $24.95.
Lithgow Library, 157 Main St, Lithgow
