Blue Shorts Film Festival Applications
Blue Shorts is organised on a voluntary basis by local people who are passionate about film and the local community.
Applications will only be taken from people whose film is either MADE on location between Lapstone and Lithgow or if the film maker/s RESIDE between the same areas.
Film entry lengths are restricted by category as follows:
* General: 7 mins or less
* Youth(13-18): 7 mins or less
* Youth (under 13): 2 mins or less
Entries are being accepted online at Film Freeway - click on the link below. The closing date and time is 5pm on March 31st 2018.
Finalists’ films will be shown at Mount Vic Flicks on Sat 19th May 2018
About Film Freeway:
Films can be submitted to Film Freeway via Vimeo or Youtube, or uploaded directly to their servers. For direct uploads Film Freeway accepts all major video formats in full quality HD up to 10 GB. They transcode videos for playback compatibility and performance and recommend that you use settings close to their output settings:
Maximum video bitrate: 2200 Kbps, H. 264, mp4
Audio: 128 Kbps, AAC, 2 channel stereo
Aspect ratio preserved; maximum video height of 720 pixels.
