Woodford Academy presents 'Echo Call'
Freedom Wilson is an experimental printmaker living in Katoomba on the doorstep of the Blue Mountains National Park and the Kanangra Boyd Wilderness area. Freedom studied textile design (majoring in silkscreen printing) at RMIT and has a Master of Arts (Printmaking) from College of Fine Arts. In addition to drawing and printmaking, her screen-printed textiles range concentrates on accessible art and is sold though the ‘Laughing Bird Textiles’ label.
Jacqueline Spedding is a visual artist, keen observer and compulsive gatherer. Her love of drawing took her to Sydney College of the Arts where she studied ceramics and printmaking. Curiosity about materials and processes expanded her practice into sculpture and installation.
