Next Saturday the men play a Single Stableford and 2 Ball sponsored by James Walsh and Geoff Hilder and the ladies continue with their Summer Comp.

BLACKHEATH MEN…Wednesday 16th January was our usual Single Stableford and 2 Ball. The winner of the single event was Andrew Price (20) with a fine 41 points winning a $35 voucher ahead of Barry Simpson (10) also on 41 points winning a $20 voucher. The 2 Ball went to Peter Bamford (13) and Matt Windsor (21) with 48 points on a countback winning a $25 voucher each ahead of Barry Simpson and Mick Lonergan also on 48 points. Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Grahame Phillips at 500 cms and on the 17th to Peter White at 270 cms. Balls went to 36 points on a countback. Remember if you feel like a hit and chance at the great prizes give Darrin a call on 47875643.

SATURDAY 19th January was the start of the Club Championship season with the 27 hole Mixed Foursomes being played. The winners of the 2019 Mixed Foursomes Championships was Louise Stevenson and Brent Bones with a scratch score of 120 for 27 holes ahead of Carrie Soady and Ossie Antaw with 126. The Nett winners were Roz Allen and Mark Allen playing off a handicap of 27 and finishing with 98.50 nett ahead of Rebecca Larkham and Kit Newcombe playing off 26.50 and finishing with 99.25 nett. Balls went to 101.

The single stableford run in conjunction was won by John Bromhead (6) with 43 points ahead of Carlos Donoso (13) with 39 points. Scratch also went to John Bromhead with 37 points and balls went to 35 points on a countback. Nearest the pin sponsored by Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters on the 2nd went to Louise Stevenson at 8 metres, the Leading Edge sponsored nearest the pin on the 5th went to Darrell Gawthorpe at 475 cms , the Silly Milly sponsored 7th went to Drew Komma at 285 cms, the Blue Mountains Escapes sponsored 13th went to Michael Mole at 162 cms, the Scully Legal sponsored 14th went to Roger Pierce at 462 cms and the Ben Cameron sponsored 17th went to Stuart Brown at 84 cms also picking up the Pro pin. Next Saturday the men play a Single Stableford and 2 Ball sponsored by James Walsh and Geoff Hilder and the ladies continue with their Summer Comp. The Thursday Summer comp winner was Louise Aaron .
