Thursday 8th November was a Par event. Rhonda Lonergan (22) played to her handicap to win over Kerry Wynne (35, 1 down). Nearest-the Pins went to Carrie Soady on the 5th and Yvonne Murray on the Vegie Patch-sponsored 13th. Balls went to 23 OCB.

Saturday 10th November was a Single Stableford sponsored by Rhonda Lonergan. Lynne Pressley (23) won with 37 points. Yvonne Murray (22) came second with 32. Sandra Draper won the Vegie Patch 13th NTP. Balls went to 30.

BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 31st October was our annual hosting of the Legends Pro-Am. Despite heavy rainfall in the middle of the day over 100 players enjoyed excellent golfing conditions. Best result was 4 under par, recorded by 4 of the Professional Golfers. Compliments and accolades lavished the presentation. The Legends were pleased with us, and we with them. We will sponsor again next year, so don’t miss out!

Saturday 19th November was a Single Stableford and 4BBB sponsored by Aub Huggins and Phil Stricke. The 4BBB winners were Paul Jones and David Glasson with 47 points OCB. Dave Robertson (15) won the Single Stableford with 43 points with Barry Simpson (9) runner-up. Balls went to 36 points. The Nearest-the-Pin winner on the second (sponsor: Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters & Cabinet Making) was Andrew Lawson. On the 5th (Office Choice/LEADING EDGE COMPUTERS Blue Mountains), Stuart Brown (191cm). The 7th (SiLLYMiLLY Kid’s Clothing) was Andrew Lawson again (490cm). On the 13th (Blue Mountains Escapes) Joe Landsberg won. On the 14th it was Graham Dowdell, and on the 17th, Ben Cameron’s hole, it was (for the first time) Ben Cameron. Ben had a good day with 41 points off 11 hcp.

On Fridays our 9-hole Single Stableford Comp was won by Simon Crosbie with an amazing score of 26 points. Such a high score is a siren in the handicapper’s ears. This comp is a winner-takes-all with an entrance fee of $5 (plus green fees which are $0 for members). To play, all you need is a marker. Our Pro-Shop can organise you into a game.

The Legends Pro-Am is on Wednesday, all day. Spectators are welcome to come and see the action.

Remember our free Junior Clinics from 3.45 to 4.30pm during school terms. Any junior of school age is most welcome. No equipment required, just ring Darrin to find out more, or just turn up.

To play in our comps, or for enquiries, ring Darrin Walden's Proshop on 47875643.
