Blackheath Golf Results - 4th October - 7th October 2017

Our 2017 Legends Pro-Am comes up this Friday the 13th October. Roger Davis and other legends will be playing as well as attending the dinner after. Last year was fascinating as Roger told tales of Seve, Faldo and players of that era. This event is not to be missed. Please enter (ring 47875643) for 18 holes with serious professional golfers on a truly beautiful and well-groomed course. Entry is only $50 and includes a meal.

BLACKHEATH LADIESThursday 5th October was a Stroke Medal event sponsored by WGB. The winner was Rhonda Lonergan (24) 71, followed by Chris Rhind (27) 74. Scratch winner was Barb Wall (93) while Louise Aaron recorded the least number of putts (32). Nearest-to-Pin on the 7th hole was Kerry Wynne, The "Bono" (donated by Carrie Soady) was won by Di Landsberg and the Blackheath "Vegie Patch"-sponsored 13th Hole was won by Karen Tolhurst. Ball went to Rhonda, Chris, Barb, Karen, Carrie, Louise, Jeanette Hawkins, and Jocalyn Lawler.
 
Saturday 7th October was a Single Stableford event sponsored by Rhonda Lonergan. The winner was Lynne Pressley (24) 33) with runner-up Louise Aaron (34) 33. The Nearest-to-Pin at the Blackheath "Vegie Patch" sponsored 13th hole was won by Kerry Wynne. Balls went to Lynne, Louise, Suzie Tonkin and Kerry.
 
BLACKHEATH MEN … Wednesday 4th October was a Single Stableford and 2BBB. The winner was Paul Rowe (15) 40 over Peter Bamford (14) 40 OCB. The 2BBB winners were Wally Shiel (23) and Andrew Price (27) with 49 points. Runners-up were Peter Messer (18) and Peter Bamford (14), 3 behind. Balls went to scores of 35 OCB.  Ray Hawkins won the 5th NTP (480cm)  and Peter Johnston the 17th (398cm).


Saturday 7th October … was our Monthly Medal held in conjunction with a White Course Single Stableford. We had visitors from Charlestown and Gerringong. The scratch winner was Jack Waldrin (68). Winner of the Monthly Medal was Adam Preen (18) 60! with Beau Flaherty (11) 67 as runner-up. The Single Stableford winner was Peter Messer (19) 40 followed by Grahame Phillips (17) 40.  

The Nearest-to-Pin winner on the second (sponsor: Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters & Cabinet Making) was Andrew Lawson (198cm). On the 5th  (Office Choice Blue Mountains) was Peter Kailofer (330cm). On the 7th  (Paul & Gabrielle Loneragan) was Geoff Cope (695cm), on the 13th (Blue Mountains Escapes) was Russell Curtis (236cm), on the 14th Phil Stricke (316cm) and on Ben Cameron's 17th hole, Rob Thompson (498cm). The pro-pin was not won but jackpots to over $150. Balls were to 70 nett OCB and 38 pts for the Single Stableford
