BLACKHEATH LADIES

Thursday 21st June was a Single Stableford sponsored by Etsuko Saxton. The winner was Barb Wall (18) with 37 points over Jennifer Wild (31) on 35. Nearest-the-Pin on the 2nd hole (which was very tricky on the day) was no-one. Sandra Draper won the Blackheath "Vegie Patch"-sponsored 13th Hole. Balls went to Barbara, Jennifer, A. Morris, Kerry Wynne, Etsuko Saxton, Ro Perry and Mandy McAlister.
 
BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 20th June was our usual Single Stableford and 2BBB for prize money exceeding $130.The Singles winner was Ross Whitfield (12) 38 points, followed by Carlos Denoso (13) with 37. Ross paired with David Ward (22) to score 43 points in the 2BBB and win from Patrick Kenny (17) and Ian Fitzgerald (14) (42 pts). Balls went to 32 OCB. Nearest-the-Pins were won by Ross Whitfield at the 2nd (800cm) and Peter Messer at the 17th (292cm).

SATURDAY 23rd June

was a Medley Single Stableford and 2BBB, sponsored generously by Lynne Pressley and Geoff Cope. It was a fine, clear mountain day. The Men’s Stableford winner was Don Griffith (25) whose 40 points pipped Peter White (25) 43. Rebecca Brown (43) continued her stellar run of form to win the women’s event with 41 points. Kerry Wynne (37,32) came second. Rebecca and Alistair Campbell (9), Rebecca’s lucky 2BBB partner, won the 2BBB with 50 points. Balls went to 33 points OCB.

The Nearest-to-Pin winner on the second (sponsor: Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters & Cabinet Making) was Graham Dowdell (296cm). On the 5th (Office Choice Blue Mountains) was Ossie Antaw (272cm). On the 7th (SiLLY MiLLY Kid’s Clothing) was Steve Tolhurst (220cm). On the 13th (Blue Mountains Escapes) was Al Campbell (191cm), then on the 14th it was Ossie Antaw again (410cm).The 17th, Ben Cameron’s hole, Mick Strong hit to within 116cm and not only won the NTP, but also the Pro-Pin ($105).
