The women have completed their Summer Comp.

On Australia Day, this Friday, there is a Medley Single Stableford and 2BBB sponsored by Maree & Ian Griffiths, and on Saturday we run a medley single stableford in conjunction with our Mixed Foursomes Championships.

BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 17th January was our weekly Single Stableford and 2BBB, with $140 in prizes We had visitors from Wentworth Falls, Bathurst and Orange. Dave Wood had an amazing round to win with 45 points off a handicap of 12. Three over the card! Runner-up was Beau Flaherty (11) with 42 points. Beau played off 13 last year. He has practiced regularly and reaps the benefits. 2BBB winners were Peter Torok (32) and Matt Windsor (22) with 52 points. Balls went to 37 points. NTP awards went to Peter Messer on the 5th (425cm and Paul Sebbens on the 17th (42cm).

On Saturday 20th December, Geoff Hilder and Jim Walsh sponsored a Single Stableford and 2BBB. Lachlan Foulsham won the scratch event with 34 pts. Single Stableford winner was Dave Robertson who played off 19 following a layoff from the game. He scored 46 points! Runner-up was Dave Hamilton (22) with 41 points OCB. The @BBB winners were Dave and Peter Kailofer (25) with 50 points.

Saturday's Nearest the Pins awards and the NTP sponsors are as follows. 2nd hole sponsored by Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters and Cabinet Making, Dave Hamilton 11 metres. 5th hole sponsored by Office Choice Blue Mountains, Dave Robertson 183cm. 7th hole sponsored by Paul and Gabrielle Loneragan, Geoff Cope 266cm. 13th hole, sponsored by Blue Mountain Escapes, Ian Evans 2 cm. Ian has never had a hole-in-one despite being a regular player and great Blackheath member for the longest time of anyone, over 55 years! 14th hole, Geoff Cope again, 254cm. 17th hole, sponsored by Ben Cameron, Dave Robertson again, 98 cm which also won our Pro-Pin, and hundreds of dollars. Balls went to 37 points.

BLACKHEATH WOMEN

The women have completed their Summer Comp.

Course conditions remain excellent with true greens and lush fairways.
