This weeks club results.

BLACKHEATH WOMEN

Thursday 30thAugust was a Single Stableford. The winner was Di Landsberg (40) with 23 points.

Saturday 15th September was a Par event sponsored by the Club. C.Fitzgerald (19) won with +4. S.Draper (29) was runner-up with +1. R.Starkey won the 13th Vegie Patch Nearest-the-Pin. Balls went to 0 on countback.

BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 29thAugust was our normal single Stableford and 2BBB. In stunning weather Murray Mehrtens (23) arrived complaining about his ailments then proceeded to amass 40 points and win the day. John Holmes (15) scored 38 to come 2nd and also combined with Mick Lonergan (15) to take out the 2BBB OCB with 45 points. Our new Captain, Michael Mole (12) came runner-up in the 2BBB with Andrew Price (24). Balls went to 35 OCB. Nearest-the Pin prizes went to Matthew Broug on the 2nd (235cm) and Graham Phillips on the 17th (87cm).

Saturday 15th September was a 2Ball Aggregate and Single Stableford sponsored by Graham & Tara Dowdell. Pat Moylan (18) won the Single Stableford with 40 points then combined with Steve Tolhurst (10) to win the 2B aggregate with 79. Ossie Antaw was the scratch winner with 33 points. Balls went to 37 OCB. The Nearest-the-Pin winner on the second (sponsor: Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters & Cabinet Making) was no-one. Ossie Antaw won the LEADING EDGE COMPUTERS Katoomba 5th hole. Stuart Ritchie won the SiLLYMiLLY Kid’s Clothing 7th hole, Ben Cameron the 13th (Blue Mountains Escapes), Geoff Wright the 14th and John Grant the Ben Cameron-sponsored 17th.

MEDLEY

Chris Hargreaves won the Friday 9-hole comp with 20 points with John Bromhead second on 19. This comp is a MEDLEY (men and women),with an entrance fee of $5 (plus green fees which are $0 for members). To play, all you need is a marker. Our Pro-Shop can organise you into a game.

Remember our free Junior Clinics from 3.45 to 4.30pm during school terms. Any junior of school age is most welcome. No equipment required, just ring Darrin to find out more, or just turn up.
