Blackheath Golf Results - Wednesday 3rd February to Saturday 6th February 2021
Blackheath Men…Wednesday 3rd February was Midweek time on the Mountain’s Premier course. The winner of the Single Stableford was Garry Way (15) with a fine 41 points ahead of John Beahan (16) with 39 points on a countback. The 2BBB went to Garry Way (15) and Rob Dempsey (6) with 48 points. Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Roger Saxton at 149 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17th to Trevor Thomas at 314 cms.Balls went to 37 points. Saturday 6th February was a Stroke event for the February Medal with a Single Stableford in conjunction for those opting out of the Stroke event. The winner of the A grade medal was Roger saxton (11) with a fine nett 61. The B grade Medal went to John holmes (15) with 64 nett and the C grade medal went to Brian Corscadden (22) with 64 nett. The Single Stableford went to Greg McDonald with 41 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Graham dowdell at 240 cms, on the Leading Edge Computer sponsored 5th to Roger Saxton at 61 cms on the Monocure 3D sponsored 7th to Andrew Lawson at 164 cms, on the Victor Kanjian sponsored 13th to Al Campbell at 110 cms, on the Ken Scully sponsored 14th to Carlos Donoso at 278 cms and on the Ben Cameron sponsored 17th to Ossie Antaw at 413 cms with the Propin failing to go off and jackpotting to next week. Balls went to 66 nett on a countback in the medal and to 39 points in the Stableford.Next Saturday the men play a Medley Single Stableford and 2BBB sponsored by Graham Jones, Peter White and Graham Phillips
Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 4th February was the Desley Alexander opening day sponsored by Ron Alexander. The winner of the Single Stableford was Virginia Hurst (31) with 40 points ahead of Rosi Starkey (40) with 38 points. Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Chris Rhind, on the Loneragan Family sponsored 7th to Dorelle Pinch and on the Tolhurst sponsored 13th to Sandra Draper. Balls went to 31 points on a countback.Next Thursday the ladies play a Stroke round for a Club Medal and Roy Smith Rd 1 and WGNSW Rd 1.

The winner was Lynne Pressley (19) with 43 points ahead of Rosi Starkey (40) with 40 points .Nearest the pin on the 2nd went to Carrie Soady, on the G&P Loneragan sponsored 13th to Margaret Booth and on the New Age Kitchen sponsored 17th to Lynne Pressley.The winner of the unofficial Summer Competition generously sponsored by Yvonne Murray was Chris Rhind(21) with 114 points ahead of Di Pease (26) on 107 points .Next Saturday the ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Jean Simpson.
