Blackheath Men…Wednesday 3^rd February was Midweek time on the Mountain’s Premier course. The winner of the Single Stableford was Garry Way (15) with a fine 41 points ahead of John Beahan (16) with 39 points on a countback. The 2BBB went to Garry Way (15) and Rob Dempsey (6) with 48 points. Nearest the pin on the 5^th went to Roger Saxton at 149 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst sponsored 17^th to Trevor Thomas at 314 cms.Balls went to 37 points. Saturday 6^th February was a Stroke event for the February Medal with a Single Stableford in conjunction for those opting out of the Stroke event. The winner of the A grade medal was Roger saxton (11) with a fine nett 61. The B grade Medal went to John holmes (15) with 64 nett and the C grade medal went to Brian Corscadden (22) with 64 nett. The Single Stableford went to Greg McDonald with 41 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2^nd hole went to Graham dowdell at 240 cms, on the Leading Edge Computer sponsored 5^th to Roger Saxton at 61 cms on the Monocure 3D sponsored 7^th to Andrew Lawson at 164 cms, on the Victor Kanjian sponsored 13^th to Al Campbell at 110 cms, on the Ken Scully sponsored 14^th to Carlos Donoso at 278 cms and on the Ben Cameron sponsored 17^th to Ossie Antaw at 413 cms with the Propin failing to go off and jackpotting to next week. Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 4^th February was the Desley Alexander opening day sponsored by Ron Alexander. The winner of the Single Stableford was Virginia Hurst (31) with 40 points ahead of Rosi Starkey (40) with 38 points. Nearest the pin on the 5^th went to Chris Rhind, on the Loneragan Family sponsored 7^th to Dorelle Pinch and on the Tolhurst sponsored 13^th to Sandra Draper. Balls went to 31 points on a countback.Next Thursday the ladies play a Stroke round for a Club Medal and Roy Smith Rd 1 and WGNSW Rd 1.

The winner was Lynne Pressley (19) with 43 points ahead of Rosi Starkey (40) with 40 points .Nearest the pin on the 2^nd went to Carrie Soady, on the G&P Loneragan sponsored 13^th to Margaret Booth and on the New Age Kitchen sponsored 17^th to Lynne Pressley.The winner of the unofficial Summer Competition generously sponsored by Yvonne Murray was Chris Rhind(21) with 114 points ahead of Di Pease (26) on 107 points .Next Saturday the ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Jean Simpson.
