On March 19th WW, Weight Watchers Reimagined, temporarily launched Live Virtual Workshops for the first time to support local communities while in-person workshops are paused.

Bringing the WW community together during these challenging times, the Virtual Workshops are designed to help members maintain their overall health and well-being while experiencing the personal connection of a WW Workshop.

To date, ?6 virtual workshops have taken place for the WW members which would usually attend in-person sessions in Springwood. WW offers 30,000 workshops per week globally, all of which have now transitioned during this period.

In addition to Virtual Workshops, on Tuesday, WW also opened Connect Groups on the WW app specifically for Workshop Locations, meaning members can now engage with everyone in their Workshop location - including coaches -- 24/7 as a place for our members and coaches to stay connected virtually.

Members who typically receive Weekly content at their Workshop locations will now receive the same content electronically via our member newsletter.

Members join Virtual Workshops via the WW App on Connect or on their desktops, with connections made via Zoom.

During this period of Virtual Workshops, members who are tracking their weight are encouraged to weigh in at home and track their weight manually in the app or desktop site. WW respects members’ privacy and as such Virtual Workshops are not recorded.

In order to keep up the routine they’re used to and participate in live discussion, WW encourages members to make their best effort to attend their Workshop at the normal time.
