Welcome Our Newest Australians
The ceremony was held on 28 November 2019 which saw the Mayor, Councillor Ray Thompson welcome Enrico Van Der Poll, Heicko Riecken, Henriette Evans, Janice Belcher and John Mundy as new citizens to Australia and the Lithgow Local Government area as they complete the final stage in becoming an Australian Citizen.
"It is great to see such cultural diversity coming to the Lithgow Local Government area, we welcomed citizens from Germany, South Africa, United Kingdom and Denmark" said Mayor Thompson.
"It was a honour to officially welcome the newest Australians to and I would like to wish all of the newest Australians the very best for the future and congratulate them on becoming Australian citizens."
