Waste 2 Art Competition Now Open
“Waste 2 Art is an opportunity to think creatively about waste, and how materials can be reused rather than going to landfill,” said Lithgow City Council Mayor, Stephen Lesslie. “It also showcases the creative talents of our residents to the local community and across the state at the Regional Competition.”
Waste 2 Art is open to all residents who reside in the Lithgow LGA. The competition gives professional artists and the entire creative community the opportunity to share their work, and the chance to be selected to represent Lithgow in the Regional Competition in Narromine. Categories include primary school, secondary school, community, open (for professional artists), and the annual waste theme category – polystyrene.
Entry forms are available from the Lithgow City Council Customer Service, Lithgow Library Learning Centre, and Eskbank House Museum, and are due by 12th April 2018 at 5pm. See form for further details.
The Waste 2 Art exhibition will be held at Eskbank House Museum from 19th May until 10th June 2018.
