Waradah are excited to inform that Waradah Aboriginal Centre has changed its name to Waradah Australian Centre and with that comes a brand new live show and movie!

The centre is a combination art gallery, education, retail and performance attraction. The art is a showcase of authentic Aboriginal paintings from Central and Western Desert. The large retail store carries a collection of authentic Aboriginal gifts and hand-made artifacts, as well as affordable Australian souvenirs and memorabilia.

Waradah has a dedicated performance theatre, accessed through the centre. October 2018 will see our Live Performances transform into a fantastic new experience that will encompass and celebrate the significant events in Australia’s colourful history.

The Story of Australia’ is a live performance that explores some of the most significant events in Australia’s history. The live performances are accompanied by the latest multimedia software and hardware, which project related images on to 3 screens. Furthermore, investments in Acoustiguide’s patented translation software allow International visitors to experience the live performances into 1 of 8 programmable languages. Total running time is around 30 minutes.
