Twilight Market in Portland this Weekend
The Boilerhouse at the Foundations was most recently transformed into an event venue for a very successful Halloween gala event, however this weekend, the space will be hosting it’s first night time market with the Twilight Markets kicking off at 4pm.
“Now that we have power running to the site again we can start to run events in the nighttime, and this market will be a great way to get families out to the site,” said Rich Evans, Reactivation Officer for the development.
The Twilight Markets will be the largest market held on the site to date with over 40 stalls in attendance. There will be everything from great local foods producers to Christmas gift ideas as well as food for dinner and entertainment.
“We are very happy to be able to offer the team behind the Out of the Dark songwriters group a place to launch their CD on Saturday night. This type of music event is what we want to see more and more of as the site progresses,” said Rich.
There will also be a chance for families to take their own Santa photos from 4:30pm for a gold coin donation, with all money raised going to Tabulum in Portland.
“We will also be lighting up the buildings so as the sun goes down the community can enjoy the silo murals and the great architecture around the sight, highlighted with creative lighting.” said Rich
With great food, great shopping and great music, there is nowhere better to be this Saturday night.
