Things To Do this Christmas Day in the Blue Mountains

Archived 17 Feb 2019 - Posted: 24 Dec 2018
There is plenty of time to get out and enjoy the day before or after feasting on prawns, mince tarts and pavlova. Three of the Mountains' leading attractions will be open and ready to welcome you through their doors this Christmas Day.

Scenic World

Less than two hours from Sydney, Scenic World is renowned for providing the ultimate Blue Mountains Adventure - from native birds and fresh air, to breathtaking views of the World Heritage-listed Blue Mountains including the Three Sisters, Katoomba Falls & Jamison Valley.

Whether you want to take an exhilarating ride on the world’s steepest railway, explore the mystery of the ancient rainforest or discover how high the Skyway glides above the valley floor, there’s something for everyone at Scenic World.

This summer Scenic World has even more to offer with their Dinosaur Valley experience free with entry to Scenic World. Accessed by the world’s steepest railway, visitors of all ages will enjoy stepping back in time with friendly Dinosaur Rangers to meet more than 20 prehistoric dinosaurs up close in their natural environment.

Once you've ridden all the attractions pop into one of Scenic World's eateries to recharge for your next adventure and pick up a memento at the gift store.
