The East Pointers (Canada) + Guests in Concert at The Metropole Guesthouse
Their second album ‘What We Leave Behind’, released in September 2017, continues to blur the lines between traditional and popular music and develop a devoted fanbase around the globe. With a captivating balance between their traditional-sounding instrumental tunes, and songs, The East Pointers have spent the last two years solidly touring Canada, the US, the UK, and Australia in support of their JUNO Award winning album, Secret Victory.
“Furiously energetic yet organic, celebratory yet cool, this is an impressive calling-card for a band who are soon to be making waves around the world” – Songlines Magazine
“The high-velocity trio expresses an intuitive freedom in its approach with savvy interaction and youthful vigour” – BBC Radio 2
+ Special Guests Tash Parker and Emma Anglesey
“Tash and Emma remind you why so many artists believe that Australia is a watering hole for brilliant musicians,” Pilerats. Both established singer songwriters in their own right, Tash Parker and Emma Anglesey combine to present gorgeous harmonies, storytelling, rhythmic guitars, ukulele and strange and wonderful percussion that will have your feet tapping and body moving.
