TEMPORARY CLOSURE - Some Katoomba area walking tracks - Blue Mountains National Park - Monday 28 April 2025

The following walking tracks will be closed for a helicopter operation on Monday 28 April, weather permitting:

  • Giant Stairs closed beyond Oreades lookout
  • Golden Stairs
  • Federal Pass between Scenic World and Golden Stairs
  • Federal Pass between base of Furber Steps and Leura Forest
  • Dardanelles Pass

Mount Solitary will be accessible from the Kedumba Valley – return by same route.
