Blue Mountains City Council want to understand the needs and experiences of people living with disability and/or mental illness in the Blue Mountains.

Please help Council build their knowledge of issues experienced since the roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), by completing their online survey.

Mayor, Cr Mark Greenhill, said the survey is part of a wide-ranging study that Council is conducting to help develop local solutions for people living with disability and/or mental illness in the City.

"Hearing the first-hand experiences of people in our community living with disability or mental illness is vital in helping us gain a better understanding of your needs," Cr Greenhill said.

"Building our knowledge of issues experienced since the roll out of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) in the Blue Mountains will help us to provide better outcomes."

To read more about the work that Council is doing in this area, please see the four-year Disability Inclusion Action Plan.

If you would like more information about this study please contact Social Researcher Rhiannon Walker or Aged and Disability Services Officer Prue Hardgrove .

Members of our community living with disability and/or mental illness, or their parents or carers, are encouraged to take part in the survey. Go to the Have Your Say website to Have Your Say.
