Stay at Jenolan for the Six Foot Track Marathon
You and a crowd of spectators will watch in awe as 900 athletes push their bodies to the limit on the final leg of the treacherous Six Foot Track Marathon and through the finish line. How inspiring!
The Six Foot Track is a 45km trail stretching across the Blue Mountains from the Explorer's Marked Tree, near Katoomba, to the Jenolan Caves.
The marathon started in 1984 and follows the length of the entire trail.
The race is a not for profit event and all funds raised are donated to the Blue Mountains Rural Fire Service who man the aid stations on race day.
Each year the event has over 850 entrants completing the course on race day.
Although it is still only January, book your guestroom now, for that weekend, while there are a few left! We have 'Classic', 'Grand Classic' and 'Traditional' guestrooms in the historic Caves House. We have more modern guestrooms in our Mountain Lodge.
