Spot The Gruffalo at Scenic World!
From September 3, families can download the free Gruffalo Spotter 2 App, before setting off on an adventure on the world’s steepest train, the Scenic Railway into the Jamison Valley, and searching the deep, dark woods along Scenic World’s elevated boardwalk for interactive signs that trigger the appearances of the characters.
Using the free Gruffalo Spotter 2 App, visitors will be able to take photos and videos of themselves with the characters as the five signs along the walk activate Mouse, Fox, Owl, Snake and the Gruffalo - foxtrot with Fox, have a hoot with Owl, hissssss with Snake, make friends with Mouse and get to know the Gruffalo.
Ride the Scenic Cableway out of the valley and back to the main building to meet The Gruffalo (check Facebook for times), catch the Scenic Skyway or explore the dedicated The Gruffalo retail space.
And then do it all again - there is no limit to how many times you enjoy the attractions at Scenic World.
“We are delighted to be able to offer The Gruffalo Spotters 2 Trail experience as part of our Unlimited Discovery ticket. As the mother of two small children, and like many other Australians, we are huge Gruffalo fans and can’t wait to go searching for the characters amongst our beautiful rainforest”, Managing Director of Scenic World, Anthea Hammon said.
The Gruffalo Spotters 2 App & Trail experience will be calling Scenic World home until at least July 2023 and is included in the price of your Unlimited Discovery Pass – from $49.90 for an adult and from $27.90 for a Child. Kids under 3 are FREE .
Can you spot the Gruffalo, Mouse, Fox, Owl and Snake amongst Scenic World’s rainforest? Theres’ only one way to find out…
