Blue Mountains Rugbys first grade side moved one step closer to a threepeat with a 25-19 win over Mosman in the minor semi with Chris Nay putting in another master class

The iconic number ten, tackled everything that moved, was dominant in attack, and as usual his passing and kicking game humiliated the opposition. Zane Blake was defence shattering electric, while up front second row pairing of Tate Cranfield and Nick O Gorman were dynamite as was Connor Tunks who once again showed his blistering speed and talent. The scoreline was no indication of the Blueys dominance, only basic errors robbed them of a much bigger margain.

Heartbreak for seconds pipped 34-28 by Mosman despite an impressive game from Akulia Masima, thirds were outclassed 36-19 by Mosman with Liam Butler,Tom Gawthorne, and Zac Hunter the best for the Blueys, fourths also suffered heartache beaten on the bell 10-8 by Waverley,Brendon Bull,Savenca Tobau, and Lakandrick Masoe three who impressed for the beaten team, and the day kicked off with brilliant breakaway and man of the match Ben Fisher scoring in the shadows of fulltime against Lindfield to seal a 19-17 win.

In junior Rugby the under 14s grand final saw an unimpressive scoreline against them at Lane Cove as a much superior Randwick Warriors won easily despite the great work put in by the likes of James Daniels and Oscar Kirton.

The senior club returns to Sydneys inner west Saturday, firsts taking on Waverly, while fourths  and fifthss play Woollhara Colleagues at Concord Oval, the prize for victory, a grand final berth.
