BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 3rd July, Midweek Stableford and 2BBB. Singles winner was Roger Saxton (15) with a great score of 42 points over Ross Delaney (22) on 35. 2B winners were Michael Strong (31) and Ray Hawkins (27) with 48 points, runners-up were Roger Saxton and Peter Bamford (16) with 46.Nearest the Pin on 13 went to Kevin Tooke @ 331cm and Shane Murphy on 17 @ 395cm, balls to 33 points.

Saturday 6th July, Monthly Medal Stroke with Stableford in conjunction, sponsored by Ray Hawkins. July Medal winner was Carlos Donoso (14) with 66 nett over Ian Fitzgerald (14) with 68 on countback. The Stableford event saw Cody Clark (13) continuing his charge with 38 points. Jack Walden (+2) had the best scratch score of 68 and a playoff for the June Medal saw Darrell Gawthorpe take the trophy with 69 nett. Nearest the Pins were as follows, 2nd (Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters and Cabinetmaking), not won, 5th (Office Choice, Blue Mountains), Brett Scanlan @ 300cm, 7th (SiLLY MiLLY Kids Clothing), Peter Kailofer @ 236cm, 13th (Roger and Etsuko Saxton), Darrell Gawthorpe @ 88cm, 14th (Scully Legal), Joe Landsberg @ 143cm and 17th (Ben Cameron), Peter Messer @ 229cm. We had visitors from Leura and balls went to 69 in the Medal and 36 in the Stableford.

BLACKHEATH WOMEN

Saturday 6th July, The Ladies played a Stroke event with Marilyn Rowe (35) taking the prize with 72 nett over Jean Simpson (26) with 75 on countback.

Blackheath Golf Course is in beautiful condition and caters for both Social and Competition golfers, so contact Darrin’s friendly Pro Shop on 47875643 to organise a game.
