Blackheath Golf Results Wednesday 6th November - Saturday 9th November 2019
Wednesday 6th November, Midweek Single Stableford and 2BBB. Singles winner was Aub Huggins (25) with a return to form, scoring 40 points over Robert Dempsey (10) on countback. In the 2B it was Patrick Moylan (17) and Stephen Tolhurst (12) taking the prize with 45 points over Aub and Kevin Huggins (17) with 44. Nearest the pins went to Matthew Broug @ 319 cm on the 2nd and Gordon Stovold @ 440 cm on the 17th, balls to 33 on count back.
Saturday 9th November, Single Stableford and 2BBB sponsored by Aub Huggins and Trevor Thomas. Glenn Mills (32) continued his good form with 43 points over Mick Strong (28) with 37 c/b. In the 2B it was Glenn Mills and John Cruikshank combining with 45 points, ever consistent Ian Evans (4) again won the scratch with 30, balls went to 34 on count back. Nearest the pins were as follows; 2nd (Blue Mts Plantation Shutters and Cabinetmaking), Peter Messer @ 128 cm, 5th (Leading Edge Computers, Katoomba), John Hollis @ 395 cm, 7th (SiLLY MiLLY Kids Clothing), Ben Cameron @ 163 cm, 13th (Roger and Etsuko Saxton), Michael Mole @ 480 cm, 14th (Scully Legal), Roger Pierce @ 360 cm, 17th (Ben Cameron), Ian Evans @ 295 cm, Pro Pin remains intact.
Thursday 7th November, Single Stableford sponsored by Jeanette Hawkins. Winner was Celine Galvin (24) with a nice round, scoring 37 points over Ros Allen (45) with 33, Celine also cleaned up every other prize by winning the nearest the pins on holes 2 (G & P Loneragan) and 17 and Vegie Patch hole 13, she also finished a great day’s golf by taking home the Pro Pin!
Saturday 9th November, Single Stableford. Yvonne Murray (23) won the day with 32 point over Roz Starkey (38) with 28.
