Blackheath Golf Results - Wednesday 4th to Saturday 7thAugust

Blackheath Men… Wednesday 4th August was as usual, Midweek time at the top of the hill. Playing under Covid19 conditions the winner of the Single Stableford was John Hollis (18) with 35 points ahead of Clive Woodworth (25) with 30 points. Balls for the day went to 26 points . Unfortunately with the Covid19 restrictions in place there is no nearest the pin or 2BBB contests at present. If you feel like exercising on a Wednesday call Darrin or Jack on 47875643 to book a game.

Saturday 7th August was a Single Stableford and a 2 Ball Aggregate. The winner of the Single event was Greg McDonald (18) with 38 points ahead of Steve Caswell (13) and Al Campbell (8) with 37 points. The winners of the Ladies event was Marilyn Rowe (40) and Etsuko Saxton (36) with 38 points each ahead of Sunny Ihm (26) with 37 points. The 2 Ball aggregate went to that Grandfather and Grandson duo of Dave Birrell  and Mani Hitchenson with 77 points.Long time lady member, Carrie Soady “ACED” the 7th hole with a Hole In One and balls for the day went to 32 points. Blackheath Ladies…Each Monday the Ladies hold a 9 hole Stableford competition and any Lady with an AGU handicap is welcome.  The winner on Monday was Nola Lavers (29) with 18 points ahead of Karen Tolhurst (31) with 17 points. You can book online or call Darrin or Jack on 47875643.

Thursday 5th August was a Single Stableford sponsored by Mandy McAlister. The winner was Dorelle Pinch (21) with 33 points ahead of Yvonne Murray (23) and Sonya Mills (38) with 30 points each. Balls went to 25 points and it’s all on again next Thursday.
