Blackheath Golf Results Wednesday 3rd April - Saturday 6th April 2019
Wednesday 3rd April was our Midweek Stableford which was won by Matt Windsor (18) with 39 points edging out Colin Stockley (4) on 38. In the 2BBB it was Matt Windsor and Walter Sheil (24) taking home the prize with 48 points, Runners-up were John Bromhead (5) and Mathew Broug (8) on countback. Nearest the Pins went to Shane Murphy on the 5th and Karl Munchow on 17.
Saturday 6th April was Royal Blackheath day which included our Monthly Medal, there was a Single Stableford in conjunction. Winner of this event was Alistair Campbell (9) with 67 nett on countback over Mark Allen (10). Best Scratch score on the day went to John Van Veen (3) with 73. Single Stableford winner was Jimmy McAlister (14) with 35 points. The Hawkins / Sanderson Trophy were won by Mark Allen and Jason Duke (13) with 140. Nearest the Pins were as follows, 2nd (Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters and Cabinetmaking), Ian Evans @ 163 cm,5th ( Leading Edge Computers, Katoomba), Brian Tulloch @ 366 cm,7th (Silly Milly Kids Clothing), Andrew Lawson @194 cm, 13th (Blue Mountains Escapes), Alistair Campbell @ 240 cm, 14th (Scully Legal), Gavin McNeilage @ 684 cm and on the Ben Cameron sponsored 17th hole it was Monty Van Veen with a great shot to 66cm and picking up the Pro Pin valued at $507, congratulations!. Balls went to 73 c/b in the Medal and 32 in the Stableford.
Thursday 4th April was a Single Stableford with generous sponsorship by Ann Morris, winner on the day was Trish Honeysett (33) with 35 points, beating home the ever consistent Yvonne Murray (24) with 33.Nearest the Pin on the G & P Loneragan sponsored 7th hole was won by Jean Simpson and on the 17th it was Karen Tolhurst. Vegie Patch hole 13 went to J Wild.
Saturday 6th April ,Royal Blackheath Day,Medley Stroke event won by Diana Landsberg (27) with 72 nett, beating home Jean Simpson (29) with 76.
