Blackheath Golf Results Wednesday 29th July - Saturday 1st August 2020
Wednesday 29th July, Single Stableford and 2B Aggregate, Steve Rabone (14) conquered a soggy track with 36 points, Peter Bamford and Glenn Mills teamed up to win the 2B Aggregate with 64 points and balls went down to 31 points.
Saturday 1st August, Monthly Medal and Single Stableford. The A Grade Medal resulted in a playoff next month between Ian Fitzgerald (12) and Stuart Brown (11) with nett 69, B Grade was won by Steve Rabone (16) with 68 and C Grade went to Phillip Binskin (24) with 65. Peter Messer (17) won the Stableford with 37 points. Balls went to 72 points.
Thursday 30th July, Ladies Stableford sponsored by Anne Morris (Golden Ball was cancelled due to lack of numbers). Young Do (44) blitzed the field with an amazing 49 points over Patricia Honeysett with 35. There were 12 starters and balls went to 31 points.
Saturday 1st August, Stableford sponsored by Kerry Wynne and the winner was Maree Griffiths (32) with 34 points over Cindy Fitzgerald (20) on count back, balls to 29 points. The weather was gorgeous and in a good field of 91 golfers, we welcomed visitors from Terry Hills, Long Reef, Georges River, NSW, and Kiama.
