Blackheath Golf Results - Wednesday 28th July to Saturday 31st July
Blackheath Men…Wednesday 28th July was time for the Mountain’s best midweek competition open to one and all with a Golf Australia handicap. The winner of the event played as a Single Stableford during the Covid lockdown was Christo (the count) Macartney (8) with 37 points ahead of Stephen Caswell (12) on 34 points . Balls went to 27 points. As from next Wednesday there will also be a 2 Ball Aggregate so pick your partner well. To book in call Darrin or Jack on 47875643.
Saturday 31st July was again a Single Stableford and in the current covid environment a great field of 70 enjoyed the best Winter conditions of the year. We had a tie for the spoils with Junior Mani Hitchenson (21) and the Mt Wilson maestro Ted Griffin (13) finishing with 40 points each. The runner up was Carlos Donoso (11) with 38 points .A special mention to John Wilson who aced the 5th hole with a Hole in One..well done John. Balls went to 33 points. Next Saturday is again a Single Stableford played under Covid 19 restrictions.
Blackheath Ladies...Thursday 29th was a Single Stableford sponsored by Young Do. The winner was Susie Paull (44) with 33 points ahead of Sunny Ihm (23) with 29 points. Trophy donor Young do also had 30 points on the day. Balls went to 24 points.Each Monday the Ladies play a Nine hole competition with all welcome, book online or call Darrin or Jack on 47875643. Next Thursday the Ladies play a Single Stableford sponsored by Mandy McAlister.
Saturday 31st July was a Single Stableford sponsored by Ros Allen.A good field contested the day in Spring like conditions with Chris Rhind (25) returning to the winners circle with 35 points ahead of Etsuko Saxton(36) and Sandra Draper(27) on 34 points.
