BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 27th March was Midweek Tiger Tee Stableford with Joe Landsberg (12) winning the singles with 40 points. Runner-up was Walter Sheil (24) on 36 in a countback. Peter Bamford(14) and Phillip Stricke (20) took out the 2BBB with 46 points on c/b over Roger Saxton (15) and Joe Landsberg. Nearest the Pin on the 5th was Steve Rabone and on the 17th it went to Ray Hawkins.

Saturday 30th March was a Single Stableford sponsored by Brian Tulloch and we also held the final Matchplay rounds of the Club Championships. The Club Champion for 2019 is Brent Bones, B Grade Champion, Drew Komma and C Grade, Chris Clarke. Nett prizes for the 3 grades went to Andrew Lawson, Paul Cinat and Monty Van Veen respectively, congratulations to all and especially to Brent!.

Winner of the Stableford which saw the first bite of winter weather  was Brendon Van Veen(20) with 34 points beating home Barry Simpson (9) with 33 which also earned him the scratch prize. Nearest the Pins were as follows, 2nd hole (Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters and Cabinet Making), Peter Messer @ 450 cm, 5th hole (Leading Edge Computers, Katoomba), Graham Dowdell @ 316 cm, 7th hole (Silly Milly Kids Clothing), Ian Tonkin @ 80 cm, 13thhole (Blue Mountains Escapes), Cindy Fitzgerald @ 500 cm, 14th hole (Scully Legal), not won, and 17th hole (Ben Cameron), Louise Stevenson @ 142 cm.
