MEDLEY

Friday’s 9 hole Competition was won by Steve Caswell (8) with 21 points , followed by Warren Westcott (10) with 20 . This popular comp is open to anyone with a GA handicap ,$5 to members and $15 for non-members , to play contact the friendly staff at Darrin’s Pro Shop on 0247875643.

BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 27th February was our Weekly Single Stableford and 2BBB, sponsored by Darrin’s Pro Shop, played from the Tiger Tees. Steve Delprado (11) was singles winner with 37 points on c/b , taking home a $60 voucher . Runner up was Robert Dempsey (9) with $30 . Winners of the 2BBB were Club Captain Michael Mole (11) and singles winner Steve Delprado with 45 points on c/b , $40 each , edging out Ian Griffiths (8) and Greg McDonald (20) with $15 each .

NTP’s went to Dave Brown on the 2nd at 200 cm and Andrew Price on 17 at 695 cm.

Winning 3 balls each for 36 points or better were Steve Delprado , Robert Dempsey and Carlos Donoso .

Saturday 2nd March saw the 1st round of the Club Championships in conjunction with the Monthly Medal , with best Nett and Scratch generously sponsored by Geoff Hatswell . Winner of the Monthly medal and clubhouse leader of the Championships was low marker Ossie Antaw (4) with 64 Nett , Runner up Chris Clarke (21) with 67. There was also a playoff for the February Medal , won by Paul Cinat (17) with 72 . With Ossie winning the Major Prize and our PGA trainee , Jack Walden (72) ineligible , Nat Foster (3)  took out the Scratch prize with 75 , Andrew Lawson (7) Runner up with 77.A Single Stableford held in conjunction was won by Phillip  (Charlie) Miller  (24) with 39 points , well done to all. Nearest the Pins and sponsors were , 2nd (Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters  and Cabinetmaking) , Nat Foster at 197cm , 5th (Office Choice Blue Mountains) , Mark Allen at 370 cm , 7th (Silly Milly Kids Clothing) , Kevin Pidgeon at 200 cm , 13th (Blue Mountains Escapes) , Paul Sebbens at 387 cm , 14th (Scully Legal) and it doesn’t get any better than this on the longest par 3 on the course , the day’s  Superstar Ossie Antaw with a hole in one! , 17th (Ben Cameron) went to Nat Foster at 80 cm which also won him the $367 Pro Pin , congratulations .Balls went to 37 in the Stableford and 72 in the Stroke and we welcomed visitors from Pymble , Killara , Long Reef and NSW.

BLACKHEATH WOMEN

Thursday 28th February was a Single Stableford ,Sponsored by Lynne Pressley , the winner was Joan Aitken (45) with 34 points , winning a $35 voucher , Runner up Etsuko Saxon (42) with 30 and $15 . Ntp , sponsored by G & P Loneragan was won by Karen Tolhurst and Vegie Patch hole 13 by Louise Aaron .

Saturday 2nd March saw the 1st round of the Club Championships and Club Medal with Louise Aaron (33) victorious with 73 Nett , Runner up was Celene Galvin (25) on 74 . Margaret Booth (11) won the Scratch with 88 and is leading the Championship , Margaret also won the Gold Medal with 77 nett topping off a good day ! . Ntp on the 2nd (G & P Loneragan) went to  Margaret Booth and Cindy Fitzgerald won the Vegie Patch hole 13 .
