BLACKHEATH MEN
Wednesday 25th September, Midweek Single Stableford with 2BBB, Matt Windsor (20) won the singles with 42 points over Seong Park (15) on 41. 2B winners were Steve Tolhurst (26) and Ross Delaney (22) with 48 points; runners-up were Geoff Hilder (21) and Jim Walsh (18) with 46 on count back. Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Lenny Redman @ 480cm and on the 17th to Seong Park @ 219cm, balls to 35 on c/b.
Saturday 28th September, October Monthly Medal and Stableford sponsored by Barry Simpson. The Monthly Medal resulted in a playoff next month between Mick Lonergan (18) and Jason Duke (13), both with 68 nett; Jason won the day’s prize on count back. In the Stableford, John Still (22) took the honours with an impressive 44 points. John Van Veen (3) won the scratch with 74. Nearest the pins were as follows, 2nd (Blue Mts Plantation Shutters and Cabinetmaking), Don Griffiths @ 172 cm, 5th (Leading Edge Computers, Katoomba), Ray Stanford @ 285 cm, 7th (SiLLY MiLLY Kids Clothing), Glen Mills @ 285 cm, 13th (Roger and Etsuko Saxton), Brian Corscadden @ 200 cm, 14th (Scully Legal), Greg McDonald @ 248 cm, 17th (Ben Cameron), Tireless club volunteer and sponsor, Barry Simpson won the Pro Pin with a fantastic shot to 8 cm, well done! We welcomed visitors from Leura and Stonecutters Ridge.
BLACKHEATH WOMEN
Saturday 28th September, Single Stableford sponsored by Jean Simpson. Diana Landsberg (28) was our winner with 39 points, continuing her good form over Roz Starkey (38) with 34, nearest the pin on the 7th (G & P Loneragan) went to Rhonda Lonergan and on the 17th to Louise Stephenson who also won the Vegie Patch hole 13, we welcomed a visitor from Leura.
