Blackheath Golf Results - Wednesday 24th February to Saturday 27th February 2021

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 24th February was midweek time again at the top course on the mountains. The winner of the single Stableford was Blake Ranse (7) with 40 points ahead of Glenn Mills (22) on 39 points. The 2BBB victors  were Blake Ranse (7) and Josh Thomas (1) with 46 points. Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Ross Delaney at 530 cms and on the Steve Tolhurst  sponsored 17th to Paul Jones at 90 cms. Balls went to 30 points on a countback. Saturday 27th February was a new event sponsored by Robbie Feyder, Geoff Hull and Ted Griffin…the Mt Wilson connection. The winning team was John Bromhead (6) Cody Clark (6) Roger Saxton(8)  and Tim Alderson (6)  with 87 points picking up a $40 voucher each. The Single Stableford winner was Brad Pidgeon (15) with 38 points picking up a $40 voucher. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd went to Brad Pidgeon at 259 cms, on the Leading Edge Computer sponsored 5th to Rua Kenny at 407 cms, on the Monocure 3D sponsored 7th to Murray Mehrtens at 482 cms, on the Victor Kanjian sponsored 13th to Al Campbell at 372 cms, on the Ken Scully sponsored 14th to John Mahony at 6.52 metres and on the Ben Cameron OneFiveFive sponsored 17th to John Grant at 320 cms. Balls  went to 32 points on a countback. Next Saturday the men play a Stroke round for the March Medal.

Blackheath Ladies…Due to some wild weather the second round of the Ladies Foursomes Championships was postponed to Thursday 4th March.

Saturday 27th February was a Single Stableford sponsored by Carrie Soady. The winner was Maree Griffiths (31) with 35 points ahead of Di Pease (26) with 34 points. Nearest the pin on the G & P Loneragan sponsored 5th went to Cindy Fitzgerald, on the 13th to Roz Allen and on the New Age Kitchens sponsored 17th to Cindy Fitzgerald. Balls went to Maree Griffiths, Di Pease, Rhonda Lonergan, Carrie Soady,Ros Starkey and Dorelle Pinch. Next Saturday the ladies play Round 1 of the 2021 Championships.
