Saturday 26th October, Stroke, A, B and C Grades, Gold tees sponsored by Roger Saxton and David Jones. A Grade winner was Barry Simpson (11) with 68 nett, Larry Manning (15) took out the B Grade trophy with 69 nett on c/b and Cleland McFadden (20) won C Grade with 67. Ian Evans (4) had the best scratch score with 77. Nearest the Pins were as follows; 2nd (Blue Mts Plantation Shutters and Cabinetmaking), Andrew Lawson @ 164 cm, 5th (Leading Edge Computers, Katoomba), Michael Sloss @ 250 cm, 7th (SiLLY MiLLY Kids Clothing), Kevin Pidgeon @ 308 cm, 13th (Roger and Etsuko Saxton), David May @ 230 cm, 14th (Scully Legal), Mark Cowley @ 276 cm and 17th (Ben Cameron), Jason Turik @ 320 cm. Balls to 69 on count back.
Saturday 26th October, Single Stableford sponsored by Chris Rhind, Maree Griffiths (30) won the day with a great score of 39 points in the tough conditions over Karrie Branch (21 Woolooware) on 35. Nearest the Pin on the 2nd went to Chris Rhind, 5th (G & P Loneragan), Louise Mathews and on the 17th (New Age Kitchens), Judith Shade, Vegie Patch hole 13 went to Maree Griffiths.
We had visitors from Woolooware, Scone, Carringbah, Cronulla, Monash, Elanora, The Lakes, Balgowlah, Long Reef, Moorina and Howlong. This week also saw the inaugural Blackheath Ladies Classic which welcomed over 100 visitors to our club and was a huge success, thanks to our organisers and participants.
