Blackheath Men…Wednesday 23rd June was Midweek time at the top of the hill. The winner of the Single Stableford was Blake Ranse (4) with 38 points ahead of Peter Messer (17) with 37 points. The 2 Ball Aggregate went to Pat Kenny (18) and Peter Messer (17) with 70 points. Nearest the pin on the 5th went to Rob Dempsey at 284 cms and on the 17th to Stuart Brown at 225 cms. Saturday 26th June was the Winter round of the Vivaldi Cup …the Winter Cup Single Stableford sponsored by Mike Gregg and Martin Green. The winner on a cold windy winter’s day was James Robertson (17) with 35 points on a countback ahead of Martin Allen (16) also on 35 points. The 3rd placegetter was Tim Alderson (5) with 34 points ahead of Stuart Brown (10) with 32 points on a countback from 5th placegetter Karl Munchow (10) also on 32 points. Nearest the pin on the BJR Climbing Equipment sponsored 2nd hole went to Gordon Stovold at 171 cms, on the Leading Edge Computer sponsored 5th hole again to Gordon Stovold at 327 cms, on the Monocure 3D sponsored 7th hole to Tony Ruello at 357 cms, on the 13th hole to Peter Bamford at 139 cms, on the Ken Scully sponsored 14th hole to Tim Alderson at 255 cms and on the 17th hole to Ian Griffiths at 96 cms also picking up the Propin. Balls went to 31 points on a countback.

Blackheath Ladies…Thursday 24th was not played due to the inclement conditions on the day.

Saturday 26th June was a Stroke event for the Presidents Cup and a Club Medal. The winner on a cold winter’s day was Yvonne Murray (25) with a fine 65 nett ahead of Louise Stevenson (7) with 76 nett. The winner of Scratch was Louise Stevenson with a fine 76 . The putting also went to Yvonne Murray with 27 putts. Nearest the pin on the Loneragan Family sponsored 5th hole along with the 13th hole both going to Chris Rhind and on the new Age Kitchen sponsored 17th hole to Louise Stevenson. Balls went to 79 nett.
