BLACKHEATH MEN

Wednesday 23rd January was our usual Single Stableford and 2BBB. Larry Manning (18), with 39 points, won the Single Stableford OCB over Ian Fitzgerald (17). Peter Messer (19) combined with Ian for a 2B total of 46 points. Second were Peter White (26) and Grahame Phillips (13) with 45. John Hollis won the 2nd NTP (318cm) and Chris Hollingworth the 17th (367cm). Balls went to 35 points OCB.

Saturday 26th January was a Single Stableford and 2BBB sponsored by Geoff Hilder and Jim Walsh. In warm conditions Brian Tulloch (16) scored 37 points to win over Barry Simpson (10). Bae Cameron (10) came 3rd with 36. The 2BBB winners were Barry Simpson and Paul Jones (18) with 45 points. Balls went to 35 OCB. Saturday's Nearest the Pins awards and the NTP sponsors are as follows. 2nd hole sponsored by Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters and Cabinet Making, Jonathan Van Veen (140cm). 5th hole sponsored by Leading Edge Computers, Katoomba, Chris Levi 284cm. 7th hole sponsored by SiLLY MiLLY Kids Clothing,  Jim Walsh 690cm. 13th hole, sponsored by Blue Mountain Escapes, Peter Kailofer 400cm. 14th hole sponsored by Scully Legal, Rebecca Brown (medley) 12 metres. 17th hole, sponsored by Ben Cameron, was won by Joe Landsberg with a shot to 414cm.

Blackheath Women

The Women’s Summer Comp continues. Saturday’s winner was Sue Tonkin (45) with 32 points OCB over Maree Griffiths (26).

Medley

21 points won our Friday 9-hole Comp (play anytime). Andrew Komma beat Warren Westcott OCB with 21 points.

Remember our free Junior Clinics from 3.45 to 4.30pm during school terms. Any junior of school age is most welcome. No equipment required, just ring Darrin to find out more, or just turn up.
