BLACKHEATH MEDLEY

Wednesday 1st January, Medley Single Stableford. Winner was Graham Dowdell (9) with 44 points, Shane Murphy (6) was runner-up with 40 and Murray Mehrtens (24) was 3rd with 38, balls to 33 on count back.

Saturday 4th January, Short Course Championship sponsored by the Tuesday Club. Championship winner (scratch) was John Van-Veen (3) with 38 points. Nett winner was Monty Van-Veen (28) with 45 points over Kevin Tooke (27) with 44. Helen Rabone (45) won the Ladies prize with 46 points and Tom Curtis (36) was best Junior with 27. Nearest the pins were as follows 2nd (Blue Mountains Plantation Shutters and Cabinetmaking), Greg McDonald @ 136 cm, 5th (Leading Edge Computers, Katoomba), Drew Komma @ 140 cm, 7th (SiLLY MiLLY Kids Clothing), John Wilson @ 160 cm, 13th (Roger and Etsuko Saxton), Mick Hillier @ 282 cm, 14th (Ken and Christine Scully), Barry Simpson @ 52 cm and 17th (Ben Cameron), Karl Munchow @ 274 cm, Juniors went to Tom Curtis on 17 @ 328 cm. Ladies ntps went to sponsored by New Age Kitchens and Bathrooms and G and P Loneragan went to Di Pease and Rhonda Lonergan, Rhonda also picked up the Pro Pin. We welcomed visitors from Lithgow and balls went to 42 on countback.

Next week is the Summer Cup which comprises the 1st round of our Vivaldi (4 Seasons) Cup, it is a Par event so get your name down and support the club during this difficult season, ring Darrin’s friendly Pro Shop on 47875643 to organise your tee time.
