Blackheath Golf Results - Wednesday 18th to Saturday 21st August

Blackheath Men…Wednesday 18th August was Midweek time at Blackheath Golf and Community Club. The winner of the Single Stableford was Adam Preen (17) with 41 points picking up a $50 voucher ahead of John Hollis (18) with 38 points picking up a $20 voucher. The 2 Ball Aggregate went to the Mt Wilson dynamic duo of Robbie Feyder (15) and Ted Griffin (12) with 71 points picking up a $35 voucher each. Balls went to 33 points. Next week it’s on again so come on up and get your daily exercise on the Mountain’s TOP course by calling Darrin or Jack on 47875643.

Saturday 21st August was a Single Stableford and 2Ball Aggregate.The day provided some red hot scores with the Single Stableford being won by John Wilson (23) with 45 points ahead of Geoff Hilder (19) on 40 points while the 2 Ball Aggregate went to Christo Macartney (10) and Carlos Donoso (11) with a mammoth 80 points. Christo had a sensational day with an individual score of 45 points assisted by not one but two Holes In One on the 2nd and the 13th holes, a feat which is rarely repeated anywhere…”well done Christo” Balls went to 34 points.Next Saturday we have the same event so book online or call Darrin or Jack on 47875643

Blackheath Ladies…The Monday 9 Hole competition continues to grow with another good field rolling up to play. The Single Stableford was won by Sandra Draper (27) and Louise Aaron (33) with 18 points each ahead of Karen Tolhurst (31) and Marilyn Rowe (39) with 16 points.All you need to join the fun is membership and an AGU handicap.

Thursday 19th August was again a Single Stableford sponsored by Kerry Wynne. The winner was Chris Rhind (22) with 37 points ahead of Mary Petkevitch (25) Yvonne Murray (23) and Louise Aaron (30) all on 36 points. Balls went to 30 points and remember next Thursday it all happens again so book online or call Darrin or Jack on 47875643.

Saturday 21st August was a Single Stableford sponsored by Judy Grieve. In the winners circle once again was Chris Rhind (25) with 37 points ahead of Jean Simpson (29) with 36 points. Balls went to 33 points. Next Saturday both the Ladies and Gents play the same events while covid 19 restrictions remain in place.
